Audi TT RS Roadster
In 2009 one more Audi has joined to the TT family. This is uncompromising Audi TT RS Roadster with a 6-speed manual gearbox and an ultra-compact 5-cylinder turbo-engine (340 hp) which displaces 2.5 liters. This new member of the TT family claims it is the fastest in its class.
Its top speed is 174 mph. It reaches 62 mph in 4.6 seconds. Even more, it features the best fuel economy, residual value prediction and CO2 emissions (221 g/km CO2).
As for its design, a fixed rear spoiler is more discreet. Aerodynamic performance is practically the same as that one of the Coupe 2+2.
Audi TT RS comes with a new 6-speed manual gearbox. Some drivers say it is like a fashion accessory. Though, RS can boast of stylish look, the strongest suit of RS is its stunning performance. It proved to be outstanding both on the race circuit and a highway. It remains extremely safe in any situation.
Despite its mild under steer, the TT RS is utterly unfussed even on the slippery road. Audi TT RS is quick, agile and magically stable. May be it is not so quiet as Coupe, but very satisfying. Anyhow, TT RS is the fastest convertible in the Audi family.
Inside, it is a typical Audi. Its interior features fantastic quality and, of course, expensive-feeling materials. Its sport seats clad is in Alcantara and leather. Some drivers say it is a bit noisy for Audi, but only when it starts.
As for its price, you may find it to be a bad point, because it is not cheap. If you are going to buy this both stylish and powerful Roadster, be ready to pay about $60,000. Really expensive. But for the car of such class, it features a good value for money.
