The last year was rich of new car releases, so here is our list of the best cars of 2011.

1. Jeep Cherokee-Grand
There's no car that would be more appropriate for off-road adventures than Jeep. The new Grand Cherokee is an undisputed leader in the lineup. Car enthusiasts are attracted not only by the luxurious and spacious saloon, but also by the powerful 5,7 liter V8 engine generating 360 hp and super tyres. For the first time in the design of the Jeep integral body the independent suspension for better and more precise steering control was used.

2. Volkswagen Jetta
VW Jetta is the best selling European car in the USA.  Today Jetta looks like a large sport car, consuming less fuel than ever before.  This is a high-efficient car with the spacious interior and outstanding running characteristics. Volkswagen Jetta is available in three versions:  Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. Even the engines featuring small capacity have excellent technical performances. For example, the 1.6 TDI engine with 77 kW / 105 hp.  This eco-friendly BlueMotion turbodiesel version with the accumulator injection system consumes only 4.2 l / 100 km. The same can be said about the 1.2 TSI engine, which is also designed according to BlueMotion technology. This petrol turbo engine with DIG consumes only 5.3 l / 100 km, which is an exceptional achievement, since the maximum speed of the vehicle equipped with such engine is 190 km / h.


3. Ford Mustang
In 2011 Ford Mustang 2011 got new engines, including V6 producing 305 hp and V8 with the capacity of 412 hp. They are also equipped with two new 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Other changes include an adoption of electric power steering, modified suspension tuning and a new sound insulation system.


4. Toyota Sienna
Toyota Sienna is 5 inches shorter than the Toyota Sequoia, but there's an additional 39.1 m3 cargo space behind the third row of seats. Besides, the seats are adapted to different conditions. In 2011, Toyota introduced a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine, six-speed automatic transmission and a new body style. Plus Toyota Sienna is the only minivan with all-wheel drive.


5. Cadillac CTS Coupe
Though CTS Coupe is designed on the basis of a sports sedan, it has inherited only the control panel, center console, headlamps, front fenders and radiator enclosure from it. Among the unique features of CTS Coupe there's a classic hardtop design without the traditional B-pillar. The windshield together with the long, almost horizontal rear window area creates an elegant and aerodynamic look.
