2013 Ford Mustang Lineup
According to Ford, the time to update the legendary Mustang for 2013 has come. 2013 Ford Mustang lineup will bring the new level of style and efficiency to the market. Ford Mustang GT, Boss 302 and Shelby GT500 are equipped with powerful engines with the capacity range from 420 up to 650 hp.
The carmaker announced that the already available coat of paint line is complemented with two more colors while Shelby GT500 and Boss 302 models are supplemented with Recaro leather sport seats. Their shape and side support function allow the driver and the passenger to get through high-speed turns comfortably.
Ford Mustang 2013 offers 420 hp 5.0-liter engine, with Boss 302 model featuring 444 hp engine. For Shelby GT500, Ford has prepared all-aluminum, high-productive 5.8 liter V-8, generating 650 hp with impressive torsion torque of 813 Newton-meters.
The wheels of the new Ford Mustang, ranging in size from 17 to 19 inches, are activated by mechanical 6-speed gearbox, which can be both manual and fully automatic.
A new system of Mustang Hill Start Assist specially designed for the 2013 Ford Mustang lineup will help the driver when starting moving up. Vehicle position sensors transmit the information to electronics, which prevents the vehicle from the roll back up to two seconds after the driver took his foot off the brake pedal, which is sufficient for a confident driving uphill.
Another innovation of the Ford Mustang 2013 is 4.2-inch LCD screen located between the speedometer and tachometer that provides the driver with useful information about the vehicle systems. Five-mode information displaying switch is set on the multifunction steering wheel. In addition, the updated Ford Mustang features two new, high quality Shaker audio systems with 8 and 9 speakers correspondingly, carrying over clear and dimensional sound.
Except more aggressive exterior design Ford Mustang 2013 lineup, available for sale since the beginning of 2012, offers new efficient lights, including daytime lights and rear LED headlamps.
