2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe debuted at 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Three petrol and two diesel engines, equipped with the Start-Stop option, are available for C-Class Coupe. Four-cylinder C 250 generating 201 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque and V6-powered C 350 turbocharged engines of new Mercedes Coupe are installed with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission 7G-Tronic Plus, which is typical for all automatic transmission versions. The diesel models C 220 CDI, C 250 CDI and C 180 feature standard six-speed manual transmission with a torque to the rear wheels. The speed limitation of the all configurations is ranging from 138 mph to 155 mph.

The most fuel-efficient engine is C 220 CDI, which consumes just 10, 4 mpg of diesel fuel with 30.8 mph of harmful CO2 emissions. The top version is equipped with a petrol 3.5-liter V6 C 350 engine, which develops 302 hp and maximum torque of 273 lb-ft that makes it possible for the C-Class to accelerate from 0 -60 mph just in 6 seconds, while the fuel consumption is 19 mpg on the city roads and 28 mpg on the highways.


Mercedes C-Class Coupe of 2012 model year is a fully-fledged two-door sport car with comfortable front and back seats, which can be folded, increasing the luggage space. Coupe C-Class is equipped with a standard three-spoke steering wheel, climate control system, Bluetooth audio streaming and MP3. Car multimedia system offers online access to the Internet. Integrated services include weather forecast and Google search. In addition to this the navigation system of the new C-Class Coupe  is complemented by new functions such as viewing  the city buildings with 3D modeling and the system helping to find the most economical route of the four alternative variants.


The list of advanced safety systems of the new C-Class Coupe, boasting cameras, radars and sensors, is accomplished with the system of road-holding ability, active bi-xenon headlights, parking assistance system and drowsy driver detection system.
